How much does it cost?
Options for aftercare include home burial, general cremation, and individual cremation with your pet’s ashes being returned to you.
Burying your pet’s body at home is the most inexpensive option. We have information for you on the proper way to bury your pet and the Washington State Regulations. Please review this information via the highlighted links
With general cremation, your pet will be cremated with other pets. The ashes will be buried by the cremation facility. Price is based on the size of the pet and ranges from $100 to $300. Contact us if you need an exact price quote.
If you choose individual cremation, your pet’s ashes are returned to you in a wood urn or a paw print tin. Price is based on the size of the pet and ranges from $200 to $400. Contact us if you need an exact quote. Alternative urn options are available. If you are interested in urn options, please contact us.
Transportation to the cremation facility is included with the euthanasia.
How are my pet’s ashes returned?
Our base price includes the house call, consultation, sedation*, euthanasia, one-way transportation to the crematory, and notification of the euthanasia to your pet’s regular veterinary clinic.
The base price is $350 or $375, depending on location. The higher amount is for Camas, Washougal, Amboy, Yacolt, Longview, and north Cowlitz County. Additional travel fees may apply for distant and out of region travel.
There is an additional charge of $50 for dogs over 80 pounds.
Cremation is not included in the base price.
Discounts are available:
We offer a $30 discount for pets under 25 pounds.
There is a 5% discount for cash payment for services rendered.
There is no additional charge for weekend, evening, or holiday appointments.
There is a $25 discount if your pet received a “Quality of Life Home Consultation" from us within 12 months.
*Our goal is to do everything possible to minimize stress for your pet. If your pet is aggressive or has severe anxiety of strangers, specialized sedation may be needed. Additional charges may apply. If you have concerns about your pet’s behavior, let us know ahead of time. We may be able to make arrangements with your regular veterinarian to provide sedatives prior to our visit to your home.
We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.
There is a 5% discount on services for cash payers.
Payment is expected at time of service.
What forms of payment do you accept?
7 days a week: 8 am to 5 pm
Out of respect, we do not answer our phones when we are with clients. Please be sure to leave a message. Messages are checked frequently. We will respond as quickly as possible.
Appointment times as late as 8 pm can be arranged on a case by case basis. Additional charges may apply.
We do our best to try to accommodate your needs for an appointment time, but we cannot guarantee availability.

What are my aftercare options?
We offer three options:
You may pick up your pet’s ashes from the Woodland Veterinary Hospital.
You may elect to have the ashes hand delivered to your home.
The ashes can be hand delivered to your pet’s regular veterinarian’s office (with their approval) for you to pick up.
The most convenient option is hand delivery to your home.
We offer three remembrance packages that include hand delivery. Otherwise, cost for hand delivery is $25 - $45, depending on location.
How long will it take to receive my pet’s ashes back?
You can expect your pet’s ashes in one to three weeks.
